MVRPC seeking recreational asset data

MVRPC is compiling information on recreational assets in the Miami Valley Region. It has already compiled a great amount of information but is requesting important assets you have in your community.

MVRPC is planning to share the information you provide through a web mapping application by the end of June.

You can help in two ways:

  1. Assets and their amenity information: While GIS file would be most helpful, MVRPC is happy to take your information in any type of format.  It is particularly interested in collecting the location and name of recreational assets and the amenities each contains.  You can send a hard copy map, information in PDF, Excel table, etc.
  2. Suggestions for mapping application: MVRPC intents to make the web map application easy to use with useful functions, and MVRPC welcomes your suggestions on how it can improve this for the final release.

MVRPC hopes to receive your information and feedback by Friday, May 20th. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact Kathryn Youra Polk at or 937-531-6529.
