SWOGIS is announcing an all-day workshop on the ESRI Local Government Data Model (LGDM). The event will take place on Friday, March 27 from 9am - 3:30pm at Wright State University in Fairborn, Ohio. This is must-opportunity for those with interests in local and county government, along with those in data sharing workflows to be able to migrate your data into an ESRI Local Government Informational Model. These data sets could include things like parcels, utilities or assets. As with most SWOGIS events, there is no cost to attend this event but you do need to RSVP.
Computers will be provided including a trial copy of ESRI ArcGIS for Desktop Basic 10.3 If there are enough registrants, there may be two people paired to a computer. The morning session will be a learning session filled with presentations and videos. The afternoon session will be a learning session of hands-on training where each user can bring their data and migrate it through the model. Users can then take their data back to the office with them.
