Full-time instructional faculty position at Clark State Community College in the Associate of Applied Science in Geospatial Technology program, stating spring semester January 5, 2015. A master's degree in Geospatial Technology or a related field is strongly preferred. A bachelor's degree in Geospatial Technology is required. Career experience in a geospatial technology related area is highly desirable. Collegiate/adult-level teaching experience is strongly preferred. Online teaching experience is helpful. The successful candidate will use a learner-centered approach to teaching that incorporates active learning strategies and technology to enhance student learning. The successful candidate will also have strong team and interpersonal skills. Primary duties include classroom and online teaching; curriculum and course development, including online courses; student advising; assessment of student learning; program promotion and student recruitment. Additionally, must be able to work effectively in a diverse, multi-cultural environment. Salary and rank are commensurate with qualifications and experience. Position reports to the Dean of Business and Applied Technologies. Resume review will begin October 15, 2014, and position will remain open until filled.

- Associate Professor: $42,144 - $63,215
- Professor: $47,720 - $71,579
New faculty are hired at the instructor rank. Faculty currently holding a full-time faculty position at a higher rank, may be considered for an initial appointment at a higher rank. The position salary is based on a 9 month contract.
